Florent Tarbouriech’s love for these creatures led him to choose the profession of shellfish farmer and go on to select the best products in Southern Europe. This enthusiasm, shared with the all staff, comes from our requirement of impeccable quality, taking the best possible care of these fragile, tasteful products - high in nutritional value and symbolic value.
As well as a love for the product, there is our love for shellfish business. Today, our expertise combines skills handed down from our ancestors and new regulations and operating methods. Shellfish are reared using traditional manner with additional guarantees of improving sanitary quality. Médithau is proud to have created 40 jobs in "Etang de Thau", and also proud of its shellfish quality - a testimony to the wealth of Mediterranean shellfish farmers’ know-how.
Since the beginning, Médithau has placed special emphasis on respecting the customer and proper trade practices. Mutual trust between the company and its customers has enabled Médithau to grow and establish its reputation. Today, as in the beginning, Médithau is highly attentive to its customers - they make the company what it is, and encourage us to continue making improvements.
Médithau is used to take care of environment but today this has become one of our top priorities. We are convinced that the quality of our products and our business distinctives can only be sustained by caring properly for our farming grounds. This means our production must remain as natural as possible and our business must take special care of its environment.
